One in a series of photos I took when on an educational trip to Venice during the carnival.
When I originally took the picture, I felt that the costume and masks were originally portraying frogs, but since then, I have changed my opinion, and now feel that it encompasses more than that. I feel that the costume may portray the essence of all the life found in a pond, the rich greens, the lily they are holding, etc...
Or they could just be frogs.
I was lucky with the lighting on that day, and I'm very pleased with the contrast between the light and shade that I managed to capture

This picture was taken with an old 35mm camera that has been around forever in my family, on ISO 400 film.
