This drawing was born from an idea I had for a fanfic I was trying to write, but never finished, and I didn't even get as far as this scene.It was something along the lines of TR being up to their usual tricks of trying to steal Pikachu, getting blasted off as always, but James somehow got blasted off in a different direction to Jessie and Meowth. They try searching for him, end up crossing paths with the twerps again but team up for the time being to help find James, Jessie runs off into a storm on her own because she can't sleep while James is still missing. Unfortunately, she gets confronted by a bad-tempered Nidoking that's about to attack her, when suddenly... James appears to protect her and then they start running til they get to a cave, to hide in until the storm passes. Yes, it went something like that.
There's all sorts of things wrong with this picture, like my laziness with the grass...but it's old, so...meh. He he he

What's wrong with this picture is that Jessie isn't holding up her share of the fight. I mean, she's a pretty powerful woman -- if she can beat a wild Seviper with her bare hands without getting poisoned, I'm sure she could do at least SOME damage to a Nidoking. But, then, those are two totally different kinds of fights; Nidoking is a tank.

Well, I drew this long before Seviper even existed. I can't remember exactly how my story went, but it made sense to me at the time.

James: *gets up in a flash looking confident* VICTREEBELL GO!!
Victreebel: VICTREE! *goes and pretty much eats james*
JAmes* wwwwaahh
Jesse: 
Nidoking: *gets bored and uses hyper beam and shoots them into the air THE END*

Oh, good, I wasn't the only one thinking that, then? He he he. I've only started looking at my old stuff recently, and seeing this really made me think of that scene, so I have a new found appreciation for it now. ^^

Although, I wonder if it's actually possible for them to die. Is anything they face really that big a threat to their lives?! I mean, with the amount of punishment they take on a daily basis, they seem pretty indestructible! If they are, that's fine with me because I'd like them to stick around, things would be so dull without them and their crazy antics.
