Some time ago I took up theΒ 30 DAY ONE PIECE CHALLENGE! Β and posted it on tumblr. They were meant to be simple, quick doodles, but somehow trying to draw quickly I developed a style of a kind. I'm very pleased with it, though it's nothing great, really. Here are those of the pics that I myself liked most, out of order.This, I think, may conclude the recent One Piece era on my dA.

Hmm, I've been keeping this in mind but it's certainly hard to come up with something.
But lately I've been thinking a lot about designs for jewelry and fashion (or at least more than I usually do). I mean, character-inspired jewelry and fashion. I know it's not something "oh-such-an-original-concept!" but what you can make with/of it is pretty limitless.
And honestly the clothes you drew in that SnK fanart from some time ago were really nice-looking~.
Of course, like with many other types of art and concepts, you need to be in a certain mood to even start on it. But yeah, if you ever run out of ideas when you have spare time to draw, why not take a fave character and try to make an outfit/fashion/jewelry inspired by them, or something you think they would wear? In modern style, futuristic style, fantasy style, historical style?
Really just an idea I've been thinking of myself, but haven't had the time, energy or dedication to actually try it out. I don't know, might be boring as all hell and beyond to do.

hard to tell, up to 5 hours? some might have taken longer if I wasn't sure what to draw and kept changing the sketch. But really, it's not like I was just sitting and drawing, I usually watched something while drawing, or made like 3456743 breaks for food, going out etc.

I'm terribly slow at drawing, though. I know people who can do some "quick sketches" that look stunning, while my 10 hours of work quite often looks like crap. It's lack of skill, or possibly lack of proper training and technique

4 - 6 hours I think, but I wasnt checking on time when drawing. I'm very slow at it and usually watch something, listen to something at the same time, talk to people, check out tumblr 234564324531 times ... It's hard to say, really.

That leaves Zoro as Akainu ... both known to look so serious

I love pastel colors it's also easier to use them just so you know, less contrast = less precision needed
