This was a very fun commission to work on from start to finish and I'm very happy with how it turned out. The pose and the perspective were fun to plan out and I tried to push myself more than usual to create something that would be interesting to look at. Working on the details and rendering the piece was great, too. I feel like I learned a lot!
Due to my move things have been more or less a mess and I didn't even manage to set up my computer and scanner and whatnot until very recently. But fortunately with traditional art you just need flat surface and the tools to work so I could work on this commission whenever I had time. I will be getting back to the digital ones now as well!

Lol. Glad I'm not the only one who likes to make my dragons more mammalian in appearance (fur/hide instead of scales), with a blend of Eastern and Western body styles. Though mine tend to be more aloof/protective than snuggly...

Whoa! What a fearsome, fierce creature you have there! That mane is very gorgeous, too. A very interesting design - I don't see a lot of dragons with fur on them - and I am a huge fan of that red-white color scheme (so props to SilentDragon64 and her imagination as well). ^_^
