Description
My entry for 's Poke Tournament round 3. This time my opponent is and their Trapinch.The final move Fuin the Zorua is just performing is Foul plat, a dark type move that is more powerful the bigger the opponent's attack is and since Trapinch has massive attack (well, for a first stage pokemon) Fuin's Foul Play does equally massive damage to Trapinch.
Because Foul Play is a physical attack I had to figure how it works. I thought that Trapinch was about to use some physical attack that makes contact, perhaps Headbutt, and Fuin counters with Foul Play before Trapinch's attack lands.
...I hope you understood.
Anyway, it was fun to draw this. I haven't done digital painting in a while so it was quite refreshing. IT'SSOAWESOMETODRAWWHENIHAVEABIGSCREENLIKETHISOMFGHASDUFASYDFS!

Oh, I thought it was Trapinch and Flareon. I guess Zorua and Flareon both have simaler fluffy chests. I thought it was Flareon because the glow of Trapinch making Zorua reddish like Flareon.

I can see why you confused them. :> They are quite alike design-wise and the colour scheme I used must've made it look more like Flareon.

Huh. I didn't know Trapinch had large attack.
Awesome picture, looks like Zorua is almost swatting Trapinch, as if to say, "Go away, battling you is beneath me."

Yup, it has 100 base attack, which is phenomenal for a first stage pokemon.
