Okay I just did an updated version of this taking away the black lines over the white and boosting the contrast of the BG... including making some of the black lines show up as negatives against the shadows.Hope you like it.

to do the snow I found some drip/splatter photos online. deleted the areas that wern't splatter. dropped the opacity to about 60% then turned the splatter to white by desaturating it and turning it white. then from there i added a slight Box Blur at about 3% duplicated the layer so I could put one on top of the image and the other behind Axen.

Hum...in this one the light looks brighter. It dosent really matter but I think the shoes and the arms need to keep those lines.
I really like the gear you put on everything you draw.

The touch up on this is an improvement.
With the changes you made, this would be a good
image to have in a portfolio or future artbook.
And it made the image more stylish.

Thanks! that really means a lot. After looking at the other version there was something in the back of my head that was nagging me since i first started drawing this.... and that was dropping the white areas out so they would blend with the snow. looks like it worked.
I really do need to throw together an art book.
