it is great to see catches, and fun to try and photograph them! Nice shot, never seen a harris catching a frizbee before!

Me either, I think it was a new thing they had just started doing this year, as I've seen him do your stunt, but not the frisbie :>    And I love how he's upside down catching it, now thats skill :>

overcast is one of the best times to take pictures cause you dont get blown out colors from the lighting ^^

Oh wow... I don't know how you do it.

For me it's always so hit-or-miss when it comes to catching a bird in flight. Often miss.
You always seem to do it so marvelously!

I volunteer their and have finally got good at recognising the Harris' XD and I agree, good light.
Yeah, I prefer when we fly three. There are two ladies who work there, the one who was in that day is new and isn't confident with lure swinging otherwise we would have flown our male kestrel at 12, the lanner at 2 and the saker at 4. She only tends to fly two bird per demo until she gets for practice with the lure.

Amazing! I want one. Birds of prey are most incredible when seen in flight. Especially if you see them actually collect and eat prey.

yeah they are fantastic to watch! I'd love to go learn some falconry, or own a bird of prey but they are so hard to take care of...
