In March my husband and I had a 'screw it, lets go one holiday!' moment and ended up booking a last minute getaway to Iceland! I have always wanted to go here as many of my friends do research on the orca that live there and I've heard so much about it. Needless to say I was hopeful that we would be lucky enough to see some too, and we were rewarded with a wildlife experience of a lifetime! We found ourselves in amongst a super pod of at least 60 orca, all socialising around the boat. Was an absolutely unbelievable day which I will never forget. We spent I think 9 hours with them in total, I was so happy!
