Do you by chance have this set of cursors without build-in shadow? I'd like to have pure version without drop shadow effect on it. Pls reply even if you don't have original version.

Download and unzip the file
then ... if you using Windows (giving from Win7 but all Windows will be similar):
Go to: Control Panel, Mouse, tab "Pointers" and in "Customize" section choose which cursor you want to edit and click "Browse" button to select cursor from this pack

SHADOW-XIII In reply to Tracair [2010-05-28 18:52:54 +0000 UTC]
i am not sure now, was long ago
but as far as I remember I got a program to create cursors (what it Axalis) and got all images from .cursorxp (it's a zip file) and convert every image there into .cur (.ani?) by copy & paste and selecting which pixel of each image will be "point one"

i have replaced the drag and drop cursors using reshacker and replacer (by modifying icon group 1,2,3 and 4) but it doesn't take effect although i have reboot my pc. the ole323.dll shows the correct cursors though.

alvabsas In reply to Skylinestar [2009-04-10 04:40:24 +0000 UTC]
do this:
1_with reshacker replace every cursor you want and later save as... ole32replace.dll
2_reboot your computer and press f8
3_choose start windows in console mode
4_in console navigate with cd and cd.. commands to windows\system32 directory
5_write ren ole32.dll ole32original.dll
6_write ren ole32replace ole32.dll
7_reboot
thats all, i hope this help. you can replace any windows protected dll with this metod. bye.

system got backup copy inside of windows/system32 folder. Sometimes it automatically goes back the file, that's odd. Make sure you replaced icons inside proper file (and check folder as same file can be inside many folders).
If you have any more question I would direct you to neowin.net forum - there are pretty decent knowledge guys and could solve your problem easly

I can see you are giving all the credit to the owner.. This is really good and needs to be appreciated. But I must say that you yourself have done pretty neat work converting them to normal ani and cur files so people like me who don't wanna install cursorxp can enjoy this great piece of art. Bravo..... And well done....
