I myself am a great fan of Saria, and so of course, she features prominently in Scepter of Darkness (and the game version). Saria is the female lead of the Dark Horizons trilogy, though initially she's quite concealed (despite her original appearance in Ocarina of Time) because of what has happened recently.

Of course, Saria is also older in Scepter of Darkness. Yes, I know the typical "Kokiri can't age" thing, but hear me out. What I believe is that Kokiri can't age so long as they stay in the forest. However, if they leave, they won't die immediately; instead they gradually age and then die. Saria stayed in the forest for about fifteen years after Link left before the beginning of Majora's Mask (which I mark at being one year after Ocarina of Time, making it sixteen years since Ocarina of Time).

However, at this point, Saria finds Link's bow, which is actually the Kokiri Bow from the Forest Temple, so she gathers a few things, borrows a horse from Malon at Lon Lon Ranch, then heads off into the east to search for Link. Saria is gone about another three years, and slowly finds herself aging. She ends up finding the Scepter of Darkness, then two years later, Link returns to Hyrule and the real story begins... Also, during this time she found a cloak that she started wearing around her. This outfit, though, is Saria's normal outfit. Soon into Scepter of Darkness, she loses the cloak permanently.

Anyway, regardless of what she's wearing, Saria's actual class in the game is called "Sage," being the Forest Sage, of course. She's your primary attack magic user early on in the game, but she only has Earth and Wind magic. She also has some status magic, too, though, including Sleep and Confuse. Her starting weapon is Link's Bow, and she can use a variety of bows. However, she can also equip staffs and rods. She cannot equip any bladed weapons EXCEPT for the Kokiri Sword.
