"Come and play with me."Lol, this shot turned out creepy. I was taking a few shots of this doll to sell later on ebay and this one turned out too scary. Honestly i find these antique dolls quite disturbing. I can't understand how little girls used to play with these...

Did toy designers ever test these things out on their target demographics in the old days? You'd think it would be very simple:
Step 1: Design the doll.
Step 2: Make it.
Step 3: Bring a Child In and See how they react to it.
If well-received: mass produce.
If child thinks The Devil has come for her soul: scrap it!

amei! foto bem tirada e grande prespetiva C= eu simplesmente amo bonecas de porcelana e isso, apesar de devez em quando serem assustadoras= / no entanto, tenhu uma grande coleçao delas, e mesmo que estejam um pouco partidas ou sem roupa e isso ( ate tenho bonecas sem olhos Oo ) eu guardeias... tenhu 2 no meu quarto neste momento, com + ou - 30 a 40 cm de altura... tenho tantas, cerca de umas 20, mas a minha mae nao me deixa po las no meu quarto porque as acha assustadoras e entao, tenhu so 2 ~^

Holy crap I feel the same way never understood how kids used to play with the creepy ceramic dolls...they give me the creeps especially this one...the teeth look more realistic ten any I've seen *shivers

& I agree with ya, like, maybe because back then, they didn't made so much things horriflying.
If I have little girls, I would let them play with those though, so they don't grow up having nightmares & could even look at them.

lol this is an antique doll. over 100 years old. i've been looking around on ebay for similar dolls and they go between $1000 and $4000. still trying to find a more acurate value for this one.
