Darkness, creates a facade. It is a concealer. It almost seems tangible, since it cloaks what lies beneath it - so to speak. Her eyes are dark. Eyes are the windows to the soul. if that is the case, is her soul then dark? In a manner, it is. Not evil, no.

When I look into her eyes, I lift her veils and see what's concealed, hidden. And now that i've seen more than there is to see, she's all the more beautiful to me.
Her natural beauty, so much more exceptionally and inconceivably radiant.

I saw her cry, and her eyes shone. I've never experienced a more beautiful pain, where my heart crunched, crumpled, and my soul began to cry.

Light uncovers darkness, and offers revelation. If I can see beneath her beautiful dark eyes, then my perception is my light, and my eyes, the light to her soul.
How then are we so mismatched?...
