Looks cool, like the frost effects.

Could use some fog effects if the storage containers are very cold.
Can use volumetrics for that.
Learn the DTE (deep texture editor), it will help with making better textures.

as for the blurriness - metal is what metal does. even in Bryce
<
You can get shiny metal in Bryce, depends on which material you use.
Some people here complain about the presets like they can't change them, you can change the presets and you should.

thank you, O Wise One for revealing the mysteries of the DTE to me.
the metal WAS supposed to be like that. in fact, i worked pretty hard IN THE DTE to get it that way.

Very nice indeed! I have seen something looking very similar to this here on DA. Strange perhaps it was you? Great work although I wouldn't have made the whole image blurry only the glass and then reflect it on the floor.

I tried it, but I really dont get it. My first impression was "What the fuck is this noob program" because of the menues - they look like they are created for children.
Do you know som good tutorials? I know it is not a noob program since so many people can create amazing things.

yeah, the interface is funky, but once you get used to it, it becomes very easy to use because it just makes sense.
there's Peter Sharpe's site, which has some great tutorials for Bryce beginners: [link]
and you can also find some good tutorials, links, galleries, forums, and very helpful users for Bryce (and Poser too, if you're into that) on Renderosity: [link]
