you know in history (weird enough) we were talking about how art is color. and I guess I never really expressed to you this, but thats what makes you such a great photographer. I dont know how you see such things in the world but you really have a true talent for finding the hidden beauty in this world. the colors that you see and portray are otherworldly :]

thank you, that is certainly my aim, without editing, to me, the colors and composition of photographs, there would be very little art in photography.

the yellow was added in to make it seem like real ice, i didn't want the shot to be just like any other. in reality ice is several different shades of blue & green, but without yellow you run the risk of having something intangible and fake looking. If you've ever seen a real polar bear the confirmation that they are real living in all that freezing climate is that they have marks of yellow and dirt down their iridescent fur.
