I was looking up some stuff on the internet, and I saw a naval piercing like this... I would never get something like it, but I still really like it.Comments appreciated!
References used for the ring, and for the stomach...

The color scheme on this is fantastic. Oddly enough, it reminds me of a sandy beach beside an ocean-er-nevermind that.
Anyway, as great as this is, the contrast could be improved slightly. I suggest emphasizing a little more on darks and lights-particularly on the tummy( what a fun word...)
The color variation in the background is a nice touch, so is the break-up of space.

A neat idea for a painting, I've never seen a naval piercing like that. I like how the main focus of it is off to the side and not dead center.
