Back in 2006-2007 I used to be a hardcore Tekken fan and ever since I got my first Tekken game (the second one at Christmas in '99) I've been madly in love with Yoshimitsu. He still remains as one of my favourite fictional characters ever.Just a few days ago I found an old drawing I had drawn of him seven years ago, and decided to re-draw it. Here's the outcome.

Yoshimitsu has been my number one favorite character every since I started playing Tekken 3(in which that was my first Tekken game I played) at that was back in 2003 or 2004 for I believe! I totally agree with you! He's a real badass and he's always going to be my number one favorite Tekken character in the series! I also can't wait for the new Tekken 7 game to come out in consoles, I think it's going to be awesome.

Oooh, I love his Tekken 3 outfits ;w; (well, tekken 3 is also my favorite game of the franchise, so...) Also, I'm so glad whenever I hear people saying that Yoshimitsu is their favorite and/or the main character they play as when playing Tekken (or Soul Calibur bc/ he is in there too, haha).Β
I can't wait for Tekken 7! I think that the whole... space-tentacle-Yoshimitsu is super rad and I LOVE that design. Can't wait to see if he has player2 or player3 outfits as well. Hope so...

Me too! His Tekken 3 outfit is really rad ;w; Wow, Tekken 3 is also my favorite game in the franchise too! I really loved the storyline of the Tekken 3 game, my other favorites were in there and Yoshimitsu's player1 outfit too! Yeah, same here dude!

Yeah, Yoshimitsu is that character with the insta-kill stab : DD. And now that I think of it, Yoshi has a lot of quite odd moves in the games. He can commit a suicide, fly, breathe some kind of poisonous gas (it can also kill the opponent if done right) and all other weird stuff like that. He's also one of the few characters who can kill himself AND the opponent at the same time :--DDD

Not a chance in hell. None of the Tekken characters are OP to begin with (except perhaps the final bosses in each game), in my opinion. For example I can't play as Bryan Fury at all, but when my brother plays as him, he is fucking indestructible : D Yoshimitsu has always been my playable character of choice, so I guess I've gotten his moves and combos in my memory so well that I can actually play as him pretty good?Β

Yeah, Jinpachi (the final boss of Tekken 5, the dude with the mouth on his stomach) is the worst holy shit. Also the weird Reptile god in Tekken 6 was kinda difficult but I can't say for sure because it has been a few years since the last time I played it.Β
But Jinpachi... fucking hate that guy. Not only is he impossible to beat, he beats your ass up so badly that you just want to throw your console out of the window! The most annoying part is when he has hit you and you have fallen to the ground, HE CONTINUES TO HIT YOU AND IS UNWILLING TO GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO GET UP AND ATTACK OR TAKE COVER. What an asshat!

Yoshimitsu has been my main man since I first laid eyes on him back in Tekken 3 and he's never let me down.Β Needless to say, Bryan Fury's lost stock with me ever since Yoshi started hating him.
Always awesome to see another Yoshi fan, especially since you never seem to find other people using him online.Β I used Yoshi and Kuni in a Tekken Tag 2 tournament a while ago and everybody lost their shit.Β They couldn't believe all of the spinning, helicopters and fire-breathing.Β The Mitsus and I went on to win that tournament and use the winnings to buy Lego Marvel...which I then got every Achievement for.Β Thanks for the 1000 Gamerscore Yoshi.Β You're a bro for life.
Awesome pic; love the colors, moody lighting and Yoshi's stance.Β I'm not used to seeing our chivalrous ninja covered in blood, but it definitely looks neat!

I totally feel this. Yoshimitsu has been my fav character even since we got Tekken 2 on our PS1 in the late 90's. Even though I didn't fully understand the character back then (heck, I couldn't even understand English language!)
That sounds great! I don't think I've ever been playing Tekken online, and to be honest, I don't think I will. I actually suck at playing the games and I don't think I would stand to see my aft kicked for a good hour or two :') But that sounds super cool! I guess I would've lost all my crap too, if you were against me haha.

Yeah! As much as I love his character design and all his outfits, it's his personality that did the trick for me so many years ago. He certainly is an odd-looking fellow but his humorous and determined nature made him stick out for me. Such an interesting character! I hope we'll see a lot of Yoshimitsu in the future games, both in Tekken and Soul Calibur C:

Oh, for sure.. Β His suits of armor and various masks are all very cool, but it's his devotion to doing the right thing and helping those in need that really makes him awesome, in my mind. Β Such a unique character! Β And I really like his style.

Yeah, well, it's been seven years since I last posted anything Tekken related, after all x') I guess it's time for me to start drawing Tekken characters again...
Hah, it's okay x')) I never really stop being a fan of anything I like, but y'know, sometimes I'm not that /hyped/ about them. And the past years have been very Kung Fu Panda, Batman and Crash Bandicoot filled :'))
