A voice reverberated in their empty hearts,their empty heads, their empty cars
Rape the land and pillage the life
so you can refuel and turn on lights!
The Natural wept, but were caged inside
This "civilization" as their Mother died.
This is an abstract picture I did with pastels about how we (in America) basically worship oil and are destroying the natural world.
(It's kinda standard from me, really.)

a very emotional piece for anybody who believes in the importance of the natural world. i really enjoy this piece because there is so much tangable emotion in it. the colours really enhance the feeling of the polarization between natural and unnatural. the smoke streaked sky is really nicely done.

It's not so much....worshiping oil, it's just...Bah. I don't know. It's difficult to explain.
And humans as a whole, I feel, are really destroying the natural world. Have you tried to breathe in a city lately? xD
