Pretty. Your watercolors always scan beautifully. Can I ask what kind of scanner you use? Mine botches up traditional so badly I have to go in and digitally try to correct them and then I feel like I have defeated the purpose of traditional art. I think a cheetah would work well and would harmonize with the giraffes' patterns....not sure what a pygmy king fisher looks like but sounds like a tiny bird...we have some African Guinea fowl maybe they would work? LOL, they do have small white spots on their feathers...they take some getting used to (looks wise) as adults before they become ugly cute...LOL, but as babies they are adorable.

I believe it's an EPSON 1680. It actually belongs to my dad, and he calibrated the color so it scans things very close to the original color. It's pretty awesome, but it took me a while to figure out how to get it to do what I wanted.
I looked up the guinea fowl - awesome feathers! That would be a good addition because of the pattern. Thanks for the suggestion!
