Go for effective self defense : such as Krav Maga or BJJ

Lots slower if you conceal carry tho' - Since breaking his arm and choking him is faster than trying to wrestle the gun from it's hiding place while wrestling to keep the guy away at the same time.
And if you open carry and he takes the gun from you by surprise...
BJJ have more settings than "lethal" too.
Guns are useful tools, but not as much as some people would think.

I didn't say a gun was a better self-defense weapon.Β A gun also has a non-lethal setting, though I imagine a taser or pepper spray would be a better non-lethal measure.

I'll mention for the people who are not in the know - No, just because you're shooting someone in the arm or leg doesn't mean it can't be lethal as well. The arms and legs are rich in blood vessels, and if if you hit an artery the person you've shot can bleed out pretty quick. Reality isn't like the movies

I know this is an old pic, but just like to point out the left leg doesn't seem attached to her hip (according to the direction her knee is pointing at), and it doesn't seem clear how his arm is breaking to people who don't know the technique. Apart from that this is great, love the style!

That might not be a good idea. If you break a guy's arm, won't that cause him to go on a blind rage and cause him to beat you up? Don't do it. I'm serious. Insend just kick him in the jewels and run away. That move's a classic and as far as I know, it always works.

On top of a broken arm, it is unlikely to be in a blind rage when you are choke into unconsciousness.

Ok basically in that position the articulation of the elbow is right after the hips. So if the girl "bridge"(raise her hips up) and push on the wrist to pull it down the articulation can broke.
In other words, the upper part of the arm is raising while the other part of the arm is going down. Be carfeul, the arm had to be in a precise decision for that, or ir won't work. But I won't explain it coz I don't want you to try and get hurt

Well done! Cool image... Actually trained grappling with a girl yesterday, (doing MMA).. I put her under a fullΒ mount every time and she had to practice to escape.. After 30 minutes she gotten pretty good at it!

I understand what you say. I am pretty light for a guy weighing 70 kilos. So training with guys above 100 kinda has the same effect.
But to be honest. Stenght aint everything. Technique and stamina are much more important.
I know plenty of girls who bigger guys should be afraid of in a fight.
