Vulpix may look like the cutest and fluffiest thing in the world, but remember that predators got to eat too.

These new Pokemon forms look cool/pretty, but I'm not sure why they exist.   I'm not opposed to new stages, or variations like with Shellos or Deerling. I think Exeggutor's new shape is cool, is fitting for what it's based on, and is certainly unique. My trouble is what they 're doing with ones like Vulpix and Sandshrew. Saying that a pokemon is same species, just with different typing, really blurs the lines. Are we going to say did Houndour is the Johto form of Growlithe, with dark typing? Or did Toxicroak is the Sinnoh form of Poliwrath, with the addition of poision typing?

its based on actual real life man

its called adaptation

when an animal is brought into a new environment that is drastically different from their natural habitat, they adapt to their new environments to survive

instead of desert lands, sandshrew and sandslash now live in cold climates, so they adapted to be ice

make sense man?

I know about adaption and evolution IRL.  I'm just saying, what's to say that a population of Growlithe didn't become the first Houndour?  At what point is a region form different enough from the original to really be its own species that get a unique name?

i think its just marketing move, i dont realy catch to new pokemons, but old ones with new look hit on my nostalgia or something.

Lol i really love the lampshade effect you used here.

It makes the artwork rather hilarious and gives it a nice little twist of cute and dark.

i have to admit, these new forms are an original idea for the new pokemon games. Wonder how it will affect the previous games.
