Oh I remember when I first did this quest and recovered the Skeleton Key. I didn't realize that it was an unbreakable lockpick so I went straight to the map marker and returned the key. I never had a chance to try it out.

I wore it to the shelter thieves held in tombs and even managed to clean out a couple of cities!
He's cool! But bored with him, not interested to pick locks. Very quickly bored.
