I tend to acquaint these kind of "misfit" characters with myself i suppose..always feeling odd and out of place and although these types of characters seem random to some they suit me just fine..for me yoke represents a type ofΒ oppression, subjection and the bond these two creatures have.Oil on hardboard, 44"x 48"

Hey, this is awesome! I really like how the main axes and the curvature of the back enclose the bodies. It's a really strong image, very disturbing yet there's some sort of...warm (?) about it. Also, cool brushwork (:

hey, thank you very much! I appreciate the comment, you are right on the "warm", i do like to do my creatures in a bright and characteristic way even tho they seem like they might be dark and menacing.
