Nyahaha! My first (successful) Soft Cell pic. It's Hellsing again folks.... sorry.
But Young Walter Is awesome! Despite his freaky girl hips, he is uber viva. I give him the pleasure.
He kind of.... looks like Heinkel, a little bit.

Actually, I've never had a *helpful* art teacher in my life. You could say that I was self taught, yes.

That's so cool~~ Some of the best artists I know of are mainly self-taught (like the great Hiromu Arakawa!). That also gives me more hope since I've never even had access to an art teacher.

The bulk of her drawing skills mainly came from teaching herself. When she got older, around her 20s or so, she took some painting classes and apprenticed to a manga-ka to teach her the finer points. By then, though, she was already pretty good. Anywho, throughout her schooling years, she basically taught herself to draw. She just kept on doodling~
