Description
A sketchbook compilation I did a few weeks back and really liked. The dogs are all live-drawn from my dog.
The other sketches are either studies or practices done from memory. Everything is out of my uni sketchbook.
I hope I can remember to upload more traditional art to this account as I genuinely enjoy doing it! (:

i am assuming you use a red colored pencil as well as a graphite pencil for sketching, yes? might i ask why and what brand is it? always looks so soft and smooth...
i've always wondered the significance of a red sketch. i can't bear to use my prismacolors for anything but coloring for i'm afraid of wasting them.
anyway, brilliant sketches! i admire sketches from life, since they seem like an art piece in their own respect.

I used a red colored pencil and a blue colored pencil actually! The brand is "Faber-Castell" and the type of pencil is "polychromos"
There's actually no particular reason I'm using them to sketch, I just prefer the look, also the stroke is thicker and I'm more inclined to using shapes than lines, so I'm not good with very thin drawing tools :'D
