BECAUSE I LOVE CRITIQUING YOUR WORKSSSS
not as a bad thing, in case you thought other wise xD
First off: THAT EYE IS GORGEOUS. I love all the detail you put into it, keep that up! The hair looks really nice too, I really enjoy all the varying tone! And the detail in the jacket is AWESOMEEE.
The one thing I noticed off though was the neck. It's very thick, and with your style I encourage you to try thinner necks that might be a bit more elongated and cartoony.
Some examples: [link]

These are all styles that I feel you can personally work with to help with your necks and maybe even other aspects of your style you find lacking, or want to improve on!
The other thing is probably the arms, that simply seem stiff. First off, arms always come down slightly lower then the crotch area. (Well, the hands do. The arms come right down to it. So take that into account, because in this picture it looks like Hiccup's arms would come down closer to the knees. To avoid that, always just double check, and feel free to always start off with stick arms and guidelines and circles! I personally find guidelines to help the piece so much better. That way you can spot anatomy touch ups before you even finalize a sketch.
Also, a good rule to go by is the 3-2-1 rule, a basic way to remember anatomy. The body is broken up into:
Head
Upper Body (Chest, stomach, etc.)
Lower body (Legs)
All you need to remember is to count each part of the body as a 'head'. The head is well, one head tall! The upper body is usually two heads tall, and the lower body is three heads tall. This is just a basic sketch of human anatomy, so always feel free to mix it up and tweek it to your personal style. I usually do 1 - 1 1/2 - 3 ish, it all really depends.
So, using that, I also need to note that Hiccup's legs appear to be too short. The knee caps are too far up. The calfs and thighs are the same length, believe it or not!
You're improving on hands so much though! x3 I love it, keep it up! (Just elongate the fingers a wee bit, and they overall look ok! C:
Toothless. While I'm not an expert on dragon anatomy, he looks ok! The eyes are fairly large I'll admit (Maybe just a tiny bit smaller for later!) and the only other thing I see are the wings. Slightly off the mark, but can easily be fixed! Just remember that for most air borne creatures, the wing span is usually the same as their legnth. So, they would certainly be larger!
Overall though, I really like this! The idea is cute, and you really put some nice detail into this! WELL DONE! <3

F-Frank? I've been looking left, right, and centre for ye! It's been yonks, old pal! My life was in absolute ruins without ye, but now that you're here, everything's just tickety-boo!
Alright. Idk what that was. But that's what you get when I search 'british phrases' and I'm bored.
