Name origin: Gravel + grab + bone

Gravalera, the Cackling Pokemon

"Despite their size and appearence, they're not dangerous unless provoked. They create nests inside of caves made out of bones, if they can't any bones nearby, they'll travel to other areas in search for more bones."
Name origin: Gravel + calavera (skull in spanish)

Trying out some changes in the layout to allow some insight into the design. I've always wanted there to be a skeleton Pokemon (not like Cubone and Duskull that wore bones) and thus was one of the earliest ideas I remember trying. First attempt was a Machamp rip-off that knew karate, second attempt came along with the thought of "what if there was a Pokemon that upon evolving became worse" so it was a silly skeleton that evolved into a pile of bones. Eventually I felt bad for the line and gave it a branched evolution that eventually became Skelossal, a Pokemon I've already posted in the past. Of course, that didn't stay for the Argha region's remake I completly reworked it into the guy you see here.
