Since I left my PS2 up in Boston, I've been playing through FF2/4 on the SNES. I have the remade version for the Playstation, but I'm kind of attached to the original, bad translation and all
. Here's my attempt at Kain's Dragoon armor. I like his helmet. Forgive the fugly hands >_>.[edit]

Lol, the hands are a bit awkward. But it's better than I could do on hands! They are bitches to draw. =]

The armor is very well done, specially the helmet. I really like the gauntlets and the lance. Pretty scary, huh? And although that thing on the back is a bit weird it fits the image. Are those horns or something like that? The only flaw, I guess, is that you put too much dragon heads on it, but it's not really a mistake... It's just what I think ^.^U

I based this on his in-game sprite in the SNES version, and I seem to remember his back being covered in spikes. Guess they're to make him look more dragony, huh?

Ah! You should try the DS version of the game. Kain's voice y English sucks a bit, y prefer de Japanese one (and the same for everyone else, specially FuSoYa). And there's a scene where they say Kain' father's name! >,>

They're remaking FFIV (again) for the Nintendo DS, only this time the game will be 3-D. I hope they don't use those crappy Final Fantasy VII style CGI models. Ugh.

...They just remade it, like, a year ago o.@;;. Maybe they're going to do it ultra-cute like the remake of FFIII? Then again, that style doesn't seem like it will go very well with the soap-opera drama of FFIV...it needs something more serious ^^.

Nice. It captures Kain's character very well. I haven't played either version you're talking about...I played the GBA version. The hands aren't horrible...The only thing I can think of is the boots. Their kind of chunk. The helmet is VERY nicely done. In fact, the whole armor is fantastic. [wishes she could draw armor like that...]

Ah, I see what you mean about the boots. Of course I take the "Megaman" approach to armored feet, so these are relatively small and non-chunky to what I think is normal. Kain must have a lot of leg strength to launch himself into the air XD.
