Description Part 1 of 3. The first two are ref sheets. The 3rd ties the two together. I really liked the idea of the skull being used as the head.

If I really wanted to make this guy and his accomplice, I could. I have an old junk yard in my back yard. Plane parts cars, scrap metal, etc. I even have the skull and burlap. The toxic waste that flows through this guy will have to be subbed with anti-freeze since waste is a tad difficult to get ahold of for a civilian. (Honestly, why would I wanna deal with it?) Any ways. The story behind him.

Though flight is not a capability he has, high speed is. Twin turbines mounted on his back, fins on his tail for guidance, and large sharp scythe claws for the ultimate traction. If his teeth don't do the damage needed, his hind killing claw will. Accompanied by an avian like machine providing a birds eye view, he tracks down and kills his bounty, becoming the ultimate predator...

If I don't win I don't care. thanks to "9" I've invented two sweet new characters. Done in micron pens and colored rapidly in MS Paint.

the little critter with the floppy ears is actually one of my main 9 characters.
and yeah, i love IZ! i was amazed when i heard the brought it back.

I think there's lots of fan art, but it's not a graphic novel. Just word descriptions of it. All shiney, spikey and mechanical - would eat Predator, Alien and Arnie for a snack!! Author is Dan Simmons, from your part of the world. I read a lot of sci-fi now and he's one of the best in my opinion!

Everyone kept doing household appliances where I think I have an unfair advantage with the scrap yard behind my house... I have a bobcat skull I always look at when I go to think and when I saw the scrap rods and turbines the light went on. There's always crows around the place as well so there's my inspiration. That and I had just watched Red Planet. XD

Haha, well as long as you can make it, I suppose. Still awesome. I was thinking about making a real model entry for this contest using my 2 raccoon skulls, that one kinda chain that's like a ball then straight part before it joins the next ball and so on for a spine maybe wrapped in other wires, and have a tube be its throat...then I realized that's about all I could make, lol.

That would be totally awesome! I've been really wanting to make Spy and perhaps rig up one of my bobcat skulls to look like Bounty.

How do you know the body? And it's pronounced "Sharp" and as for the skull, it a modified version of the one they have. Eyes are different, theirs isn't being held together with metal and canvas, and the jaw is hinged differently.
