I've seen hens display rooster combs and plumage, just as I've seen doe wth antlers. Male markings on a fantasy mask could be any gender the owner wants it to be.

lol I meant from a realistic stand point. While a hen can become a male with the lack of roosters, the same does not apply with sugar gliders.
A slicked scent gland like that is a sign of an unaltered male (specifically). Granted, I'm sure anyone that isn't 100% familiar with the species probably won't even notice it regardless.

That's actually really cool, I didn't know that! Thank you for that little tidbit. Never handled gliders before so I wasn't sure if it was gender specific or just a marking. :3
