Description
Roughly start to finish, from base prep to finish. Love this stupid phone, makes documenting so much easier. Each line took about a day. First line is base prep, second is furring, third is hood sewing/attachment/ear construction and attachment, and lip/eye detail. Last line is prep for airbrushing and final.Related content

what did you use for the eyes? And can you see out of them? I'm planning on making a fursuit for the first time and the eyes on this one caught my attention.

quick question: i see that when you fur your head, there are no eye spots. are they there, but not visible? or are they cut out later?

There is no separate piece for the eye spots, all detail was airbrushed in.

Dagnabit, it's too professional, I couldn't tell!Β But there are springs involved?Β I've seen some resin masks that don't use a resistance, that just sort of work with the wearers face.Β Teeth looks like one of them, but I can't tell.Β btw, thank you for answering my questions, I try not to ask and rather pay attention or do my own research when I can.

This looks great! Sometimes it's almost creepy how realistic your heads look.
I have a question, if you're willing to share any construction methods: we typically build our ears out of foam and attach them to the base, and make them part of the head pattern, but you seem to add yours later. Do you just sew them down onto the fur of the head?

Usually yes, unless it calls for Qarrezels method of shaving the attachment point down, carefully and securely gluing, and using the glue at the base of the fur fibers to style it in a realistic manner and when done right it's stronger than any thread
