It was made of countless pieces of black leather, each crafted to form feather-like scales that would overlap each other; leaving its owner well-protected, as well as offering an almost complete freedom in its movements. Everything was so perfectly matched, she could not see where the gauntlets would end and where the armor began, the same went for the boots. The tassets that protected the upper legs were made with the same superior skill, allowing free movement without losing its protective function.” ~ From Aronansa chapter 010

I realized most of my drawings and illustrations show the subject in a portrait-angle. So I thought it was a good idea to try another angle this time; frontal-view. And I also realized I never drew Nightingale Armor, starry nights, or the northern lights… so yeah, why not do all of that at once?! did anyone see my medication….?

I want to give a big hug to my buddy Thomas-Koidhis because A; I want to do that and B; it was one of his amazing photographs that inspired me to do this type of background. I can only recommend you all to give his gallery a visit, might as well hit that watch button if you’re there; his work is breathtakingly beautiful!
