Description More Faeries comics/manga: [link]

This one's for ASHCAN #4

After the positive response from FAERIES: AT PLAY (Which was originally just a one off for a now-deceased australian manga anthology) I've decided to make some more (I'm trying to top my last FAERIES effort).
This one is really more an introduction to the two faeries, one's name is Taariq (Which means Morning Star, Yes this name does exist) and the other is Aamori (Made that one up) and their owner, Miss Claire (And it's more about her). You'll find out more about Miss Claire with the next pages. This only goes for three pages, but this comic/manga will be the one with the most words.
(Because my Faeries don't speak, or guide the sword swinging hero towards their goal, or they go out of their way to help little girls in trouble. They're just there trying to survive like every other lifeform, thy're more like butterflies/birds)
Second panel was tough, but I'm happy how it turned out. There are little mistakes in there (Miss Claire's ear is up too high in the first panel I've noticed), but I still like how I've pulled off the faerie pen.

And please, do critique! I can take the heat...

Critigue? Hmm....

Well...Since you ask for it - there are perspective issues in panel 2, as if the house and the pen are standing in 'different space' from each other, i.e. being looked at from 2 standing points simultaneously...

..but screw that,., really. It's my professional deformity to notice such thing, dealing with space and all that....so it sometimes gets in the way.

Actually, I've totally grown used to your comics taking place in a mostly isometric world with instances of some non-Euclidean geometry, and it's something I find quite refreshing and unique to your style, because you're persistent with it, and what's more important, *consistent* and following a pattern you developed yourself. In my eyes, enough to make something *canon*,....and that's it - things are just like that, and it's not my business to question them

As always, the level of detail and attention for it is simply mind-blowing (hair and boards on panel 1, to highlight an example)...I regularly stare at every page for 5 minutes at least, and just keep finding out new things.

There.
Happy?

You're such a prick...

No, yes, I do realize that now, I did do perspective lines on the house but not the pen... ARGH...
