Trying to keep up with my sketchings. Did this last night at 5 am while having some downtime at the hospital.Not sure why I'm so drawn to the human figure but it's something I enjoy. Even if my anatomy is shit at times haha.
Decided to render it a little more based off of the sketch style of which I highly suggest you check out.
He's my new favorite artist!

This is the first semester I've actually had a little time to paint and take a class for it even, so it's not going too bad except I still have A LOT to learn.. How about for yourself man?

Been traveling alot with the c&h crew so been drawing a lot of stick figures haha.
Working on a couple skate decks for an upcoming show but mostly just sketching alot. Trying to find time to sit down and properly learn some techniques.

Same here man as far as trying to find time to learn new things goes, but time is so hard to find right now, and if all goes well, I'll have even less time soon. Damn these medical professions >__<

Maybe because human figure is very flexible and with all the knowledge of anatomy it just gives you such insane variety of things that you can do with it

I really like the use of shadows on this piece. That elongated neck gives it a special inhuman touch.

I like it! I can see the influence of the other artist, while at the same time your style is still very strong in this one.

pfah, ive told you before (when you went to school and all that) that that you don't strive for perfect anatomy is something that makes your art so special c:

There's something to be said for "unusual" anatomy, in my opinion... Like elongated limbs / digits, or irregularly bony hips for example (just random examples).
I like the effects of your specific anatomy drawings... There's a certain character to them that shows through, something that marks them uniquely yours. You know?
