I haven't properly submitted this as a submission so... Here you go!I've been working on this for the past few months and I'm fairly happy with how it came out. I also tried this different style for the background. I made them separately in SAI with a painted kind of look to it. It was a bit more work but it does look nice, although I don't think I'll ever do it that way again.
This was a commission for ~FenrirKar . They gave me the premise for the flash and I did the rest.

Pros:
The animation was extremely smooth i love that and the lineart of the scenery and characters was perfect even shadows were concordant to enlightenment and you used the old technique were you draw the characters less detailed and best scenery (Which worked perfectly) i simply loved the animation.
Cons:
The shadows of the characters surpass the drawed lines and some lines in the drawing are crossed (Minor details basically the animation was simple but great.)
Stars:
"Vision" I love the way you did crossed a fox and a wolf and even a cat and i did not saw any history like this one. (You get a 5.)
"Originality" Simply the history was perfect and funny even unpredictable and it was funny too, the drawing style was singular and you got 5.
"Technique" As i did typed before i saw the background/characters old technique you used as well you used a smooth animation so any little error or overpassed line was invisible. (Another 5.)
"Impact" It was not that much like amazing i saw other works using same techniques and animation style but anyway i loved the ending it was unexpected and i simply wanted to watch it over and over and over again. (Another 5.)

Hmm... the only gripe I've got with it is that the ending was too weak with no definite conclusion. Seems as if there could've been at least one more scene to show the protagonists reaction to the "kitty-surprise"
Other than that, it's all fairly well done and quite entertaining to watch. The expressions are extremely enjoyable as they are, though consider experimenting some more with manga iconography. Another thing that requires attention are sound effects. The way it currently is the background sound is rather basic. It's okay, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Consider picking a sneaky tune to follow their adventure - something subtle just to fill the indoors silence.

It seems like a lot people are bothered with how it ended.
I guess having showed their expressions would have had more of an impact, but I prefer leaving it open. That way people can use their imagination to how it ended. Personally I think they ate the kitty.
I know they sounds aren't the best and I'm hoping eventually I can get my own sound recorder to make my own. I thought about getting someone to make music to go along with the animation too, buuuut me and the person who commissioned me decided to stick with sound effects. Plus finding someone to make music would have been more work and time, and I'm a lazy mofo. But for future projects I may just do that if I can.

this was hilarious and the best animation I have seen in ages. I love animals and I found it funny how tolerate the fox was of his much bigger wolf companion. May I ask you how long it took to make this animation and how long have you been animating for because you are really good

Well this took about 3-4 months to get done. Was working on it on and off.
And I think I started animating in 2008 or end of 07. Uhhhhh, somewhere around there. XD
But I did take a beginners animation class so I learned a bit from that too.
