I figured since The introduction of Resetswap happened about a year ago, and I posted the ref sheets some time in March(?), and because of the contest I'm hosting, I thought it would be appropriate to update Sans and Papyrus' ref sheets. Sans' ref sheet will be here either tomorrow or the day after.

Some Info about Papyrus

What's Resetswap about?

Resetswap is an AU where instead of Sans being aware of the resets, it's Papyrus. Well, it's not that simple actually. Both Sans and Papyrus are sensitive to timeline manipulation, but Papyrus is just more aware because of some things that went down when they were younger. Sans is pretty sure they exist because of the studying he did when he was a royal scientist, but he can't say for sure other than some deja vu. Anyway, this AU explores what would change in Undertale's canon if their roles were swapped.

How well can Papyrus remember the resets?

Papyrus can remember the previous reset, pretty clearly, to the point where he doesn't realize a reset has happened until things start repeating again. Every reset before that is pretty blurry and he can't recall specific events. After a while, his memory of any reset begins to fade.

What is Papyrus like in this AU?

Papyrus has a similar "go with the flow" sorta view that Classic!Sans does, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. Papyrus has frequent nightmares so most of the time he doesn't sleep. He hates waking up Sans so most of the time he goes on walks around Snowdin at ungodly hours or he spends his time cooking. He's gone days without sleeping, and there's been times where he's nearly hurt himself cooking because he was too sleep deprived to focus.

He's pretty paranoid, and there's always something in the back of his mind telling him that something bad will happen. It's one of the reasons he's scared of Frisk. Knowing they have the power to reset terrifies him, almost more than it did when Flowey could. He pretty much despises Flowey, but there have been a few instances where they've had somewhat pleasant conversations.

He's actually fond of puns, mainly because Sans uses them to cheer him up. Sometimes he comes with Sans to the door to the Ruins to talk to Toriel.
