Yes, it was behind a glass. However, the fish tanks at zoo duisburg are lit form the inside and the rest of the building is dark, therefore there's no outside light that could cause reflections.
Also, this allowed me to remove the polarising filter I usually use to remove reflections, which means there's absolutely no yellow tint, something that this filter sadly causes.
It's very noticable on white things...
