Second generation ICE heading straight towards your face, running cab car forward.

This is a new photo spot I found, just next to the S-Bahn station of Langenfeld. There's a large roofed area for cycle racks just next to the tracks, allowing you to be very close to the 125mph trains while standing safely behind a fence (against which you can lean to get steady tele shots). After I took this photo yesterday, I thought I'd save the introduction of this spot for today, when the 103 would come around. Sadly though, no 103 was to be seen, and after waiting for almost two hours, I decided that it was time to go home. So instead, I give you this shot, of a train that's much less awesome. But perhaps it will still show you that this is a pretty neat photo spot, if you're a fan of strongly cropped tele shots.

I still miss my weekly 103 shot though...
