Description
Well, here it is, the Mother of All Hats. It is a 5 1/2 foot long stocking cap, with a shrunken head hanging on the end. It was a challenge to make, because I had to custom fit it, and learn how to decrease gracefully, without a pattern! I actually started it 3 times, before I accepted it the way it is now.

It is officially a collaboration, because (Avian) drew up the design, and it was up to me to figure out how to make it happen. He also added the full head of hair to the little friend on the end, as well as the copper earrings and copper ring attaching him to the hat.

The ribbing is double crocheted and stitched down; the length is made with Hdc's. 100% wool Lion's Brand Yarn in winter white and cocoa.

The upper portion of the picture shows the hat next to a yard stick, and the spiraling bit in the corner is an inside shot! Thankyou, Skyler, for putting it all together in Adobe for me!
