Donnie wanted desperately to become human for April. Raph started arguing and fighting with him and Don said he didn't want to be a ninja and a family member anymore. He left the lair and Mikey chased after him. When he found his older brother he hugged him from behind and asked afraid: "You're not really going to leave us, are you, Donnie?" Donnie leaned in the embrace and sighed. "No, Mikey, I'm not..."A very old idea when I started into the fandom. Found a similar sketch and decided to redraw it!

Leave it to Mikey to understand how Don is feeling enough to be afraid that his genius brother might actually go away. Mikey knows that Don needed some understanding and a hug, but Mikey needed it too. Don scared him, poor guy.

I understand Donnie, being a human is easier than being a mutant turtle, but he forgot about who he is and his family, I'm happy that Mikey changed his mind, he cannot say 'no' to his family and abandone it, he needs his family to be who he is and be happy.
I love how you painted this one, the lights are the best part.
