Yet another illustration course assignment (Yeah, they pretty much let us do whatever the hell we want now
)The brief was basically 'Footprints' this time, so I thought I'd go with something rather simple. The reference I used for the characters was from lots and lots of screenshots off the movie/DVD. It was hard to capture them at the right angles and such because my computer would chuck a tantrum everytime I would pause it

I really like this one. Talk about telling a story with a single picture! Very nice. The characters are all individualized in just this single shot. Really good work on the hair, and on the fleshtones.

I have not seen Flight of the Phoenix, but it sounded so familuar so I googled it. Dennis Quaid say's it all! I really like specific detail on the people especially the clothing and let's not forget the hair. Did it take ages

Yeah the movie got bagged pretty badly. Mainly because it was compared so much to the original (which is supossed to be better in terms of character development/relationships and stuff). I still loved it though
