I've been looking for the base-frames for this for EONS, but I never knew what it was called DXAfter FINALLY learning the name and locating a base ref, I found yet another excuse to not sleep XD

what kind of animation software did you use? and is it free without trial?

I used PaintToolSAI to draw the frames over the original base (it had kinda icky, wibbly lines), and are saved as .jpg files. Then it was off to MySpaceGens to animate the six frames, 0.1 seconds apart, and DynamicDrive to make the icon-sized version a small enough file to use on dA. SAI you have to buy outside of trial, unless you hack it, but the animation and optimizers are both online and free to use
Oh, and animations like the one above are generally .gif s when they're done :3
