I figured I ought to post this eventually, haha.I recently rewatched Kino no Tabi and this happened one late night when I should've been studying for an engineering midterm. I did alright! (on this, and the midterm, so win-win)
Been a while since I've experimented with digital painting!

Of all the possible ways that kino lost her own innocent past, hers has to be 1 of thee most heartbreaking: running away from home after successfully evading the orwellian fate of being forced to remain happy by her own country, spending the rest of her life wondering other places

She doesn't even remember her birth name, I doubt she gives her past much thought.
That said, you never know what might happen were she forced to face her past.
