I know the problem. It's the eye... sorta is popping out. ^_^;;

The muscle structure's good, as are the wings. I like the way it resembles both a cat an a lizard, which most dragons dont even tho they're traditionally reptiles.
The anatomy is good, especially in the neck/shoulder areas an the tail

Thanks! I prefer the cat/reptile type draggies with other peoples arts, and can't stand dragons that look entirely reptillian honestly. Western mythology had them stanced like a cat, often with paws even. The anatomy was certainly interesting, since it's hard to see where muscles lie under loose skin and fur, so all of that came out of my own mind.

You've got some nice solid anatomy which is a very nice plus. I think you should try and pay a bit more attention to your presentation of your images. Erasing some of your guidelines will make this feel much less like it belongs in the scraps gallery, right now it simply looks like a sketch, and all sketches and WIP's are to be placed in scraps. Also, using the levesl tool to remove some of the background noise on the image will help make it look much more professional. The 'grit' all over the white paper is very distracting. The levels (or Histagram) tool will easily remove most of this, then all that is needed is a few quick sweeps at 200% size with a white paint brush to remove any specks that remain. Adding a bakcground to your image will help a lot. The little stool is a nice touch, but it really does not justify the huge sea of white which the dragon is floating on. I think some inkwork would help improve this image a lot, or some more attention to shading. The wings have a bit of shadow to them, and the feet do cast shadows, but it all still looks very much like a sketch. Really going in and fleshing out the dragon will make it feel much more 3-D and will make the image far more impressive, all around.
You've got some lovely anatomy and some very nice details on this one. I'd love to see you spend a little more time finishing up an image before asking for a critique on it. Keep at it.

If you look at the body structure of artists who are *really* good at drawing dragons you'll notice that their creatures look and move a lot like cats. ^_^

So cute! I love how you captured the laziness and uncaringness of the cat and transformed it to a dragon!

I do indeed! Though the hospital I work at is cat-only so I dun get to play with doggies too. ;_; It's a lot of fun, even if half the cats that board are evil. XD

Thanks a bunch! Dragon wings are a massive pet-peeve of mine and I'll often sit at the front page for hours, stalking pictures of dragons so I can offer wing advice. XD I'm glad you like the anatomy. It was interesting to have worked off the memory of an actual creature with no references beside me. I think it looks better because of it.

This is beautiful Shiari! *sighs* I'll never be as good as you, you just keep getting better in leaps and bounds, I can't catch up. *smiles* I think I like this one just as much as your hand-dragon as well, it's just lovely.
