He broke her heart,
He plucked out her wings,
He drowned out her peace,
He burned down her luck,
He left the pieces on the floor,

Se acercó. En el suelo descansaba una gema roja en forma de corazon. Estaba completamente hecha pedazos, llena de fracturas y grietas. Trozos escarlata esparcidos por los adoquines en un día plomizo, en un día gris.
Se agachó. Sintió lastima al ver algo tan bonito roto, tirado en el suelo como si no tuviese ningún valor. Cogió uno de los pedazos, y su blanca piel se estremeció al notar la gelidez. Esbozó una mueca triste.
-¿Por qué? -susurro - ¿Por qué te han roto?
