I really fudged around with it, i hope you dont mind girl.

Anyway, nice Jedi design.
Fact:
Did you know that the word Jedi is actually taken from a Japanese name, Jidai? As well as the idea of Star Wars came from a Samurai movie, "The Hidden Fortress". And I think the light sabers were inspired by the katana (the samurai swords) but with colors. (^_^)
I guess... ...many people were influenced by the Japanese cultures since the 60's or the 70's...

Wow, really, thats so interesting, I never knew that! I think it's funny too because the majority of Japanese anime was heavily influences by the chinese "Journey to the west" story. Eg: DBZ, Naruto, Moneky Magic etc I guess its all relative hey

Take a look at "Batman Beyond". In that animated series, the concept was inspired by "AKIRA" because of the background and some of the characters in the anime "The Big O" were inspired by "BATMAN:The Animated Series"... ...the main character looks like Bruce Wayne. (^_^)
East or West, people trade ideas or inspirations. That's what I read in a Malaysian Anime and Manga magazine. (^_^)
