I really love and admire all of your work. They are not only technically well drawn but also has soul in them, that's inspires me most. From your ~shimoda7 name, I thought you are Japanese but you are not as your name is Henrik! Carry on fab work!

Thank you for reply! I've already ordered your favourite book Illusions from Amazon in Japanese and English! I found the book has been translated into Japanese 20 years ago. It seems many people's life changing book. Thank you for introduction.
And can I ask one more question? What your Shimoda7's 7 means?
As you know my user name is Nanae7. My name Nanae's "nana" means seven in Japanese.
("e" means fortune. Yap, lucky seven!) Just curious.

Speaking of patience (and also to answer your other question), here's a small FAQ I wrote some time ago. You can find some interesting comments from other deviants about that topic: [link]

Well, all I can say is observation, a little perfectionism and practice. A lot of it!

Brilliant. The lighting on this is fabulous. I especially love the expression on the man's face.. you can tell exactly what he's thinking.

Ay caramba! Perfect! It's sad you have to add watermarks to your stunning drawings because they tend to diminish the pictures' impact on the viewer. But I totally understand why you have to do that. Keep up the excellent work!

Love it- took a few years off myself which I regret and your work is just another push in the right direction - fellow penciler.
