We have some BIG adventures ahead of us, Chidorii...!Hey deviants! Well my first little sketch is up. I actually drew this picture a couple weeks ago as a playful little gift and gave it to Chidorii after he introduced me to GTS.
After I gave it to him, we both decided to be serious about this and start a deviantArt account and share our work with everyone else.
For those who would like to see where our inspiration came from, I STRONGLY encourage you all to look at user chibiBiscuit's gallery. He is very very talented indeed!
Please be kind with critiques. Constructive criticism is more than welcome, however! ^_^ I'm here to learn and become a better artist.
As a self critique note... I may have overdone the eyelashes a bit. I'll be more conscious of the eyes next time, hehe...
Either way I think the picture turned out alright for my first one. I can't wait to use the new art goodies Chidorri and I bought to bring you all better art! ^_^

I love the attention to detail in your artwork. This picture is unique enough, and it has your own personal style - its really great! Not only do I not have a single capable bone to draw, I lack the patience to do it as well. Great job!

Thank you so much! I really am not the greatest artist in the world by ANY stretch of the imagination.. so I get so freaked putting my work up. But I suppose good or not, it's just fun to do.

I know what you're saying, too. I was mortified when I started posting. I was expecting people to attack my lack of ability, and failing that, my preference of subject. But all-in-all, DevArt has been a really friendly community... It may take a while for you to gather followers and people who will comment though- so if you don't get a lot of feedback right away, don't lose heart. It's just takes some time to be discovered.
