DescriptionTitle of a song that I am listening to right now from the Halo 4 soundtrack but I suppose it fits this drawing since it depicts a character from the owner's past account.Recently, the hard drive in my PC died and even though I had backed up my files relatively recently, there was a work in process PSD that was lost. I was going to have to paint over a small web-saved JPEG of the image, but ElectricFangs recommended that I try putting my hard drive in the freezer. By following Fang's advise, I was able to recover my data and continue working on the picture!
I draw this picture of Fang's character in thanks for helping me continue working on my drawing. ♥ Putting this into the Traditional Art category because most of the time spent here was on the pencil line art.

If I remember correctly, the mixed media category is used for mixed traditional mediums. Like a painting made with watercolors and acrylics, or a drawing made with charcoal and colored pencils. That sort of thing.
DA doesn't have a category for digital/traditional pictures, though.

There's a digital art -> mixed media category too. I think this would fit there :3

I think that's used when you're mixing different digital mediums, like painting over a 3D sculpture, or mixing photomanipulation with painted elements.
(I have the same problem when it comes to digital/traditional mixed media. So disappoint that DA doesn't have a top-level Mixed Media category. >__< )

When I to go use that category though, one of the examples is a Moleskin sketch with digital color added. I dunno personally I think it makes more sense than just going straight digital or straight traditional. It looks like some digital/traditional deviations are getting put into the digital -> mixed media -> other category as well. It seems like everyone is just taking a best guess.
It is strange that doesn't have a category for digital/traditional but they have an anime and anthro section... their categories are just pretty messed up all around I think
