Description
A commission of a Firefly roleplaying group! It was a challenge to get all these characters to cooperate into one picture but I think I got it.

whhh why are your characters always either thrusting their hips out or stretching their necks, albeit less now than your older works
but they do look interesting and like, yknow, actual distinct characters

I always wanted to try the Firefly RPG, but no one in my group seemed to be that interested. Anyway, I really like your art for these characters. :3 They look like they could believably fit into the Firefly verse without being exact clones of the main characters.

If I could ask a favor: would you put a red-head in there? Wash was too great a character not to emulate.

I love Shinga's work with these characters. She really captured each of their personalities in their poses. A few of the players and I, including MastaXander, even started to talk about the story behind getting the characters to pose for a "picture" aboard ship and the arrangement of the characters makes perfect sense.
And thank you to all of those who have complimented the characters. We've been playing with these characters for the last year and have grown quite attached to them. The only problem now is the player of Vlad (guy in the rose glasses), MastaXander, is never going to shut up about how much love his character received less than an hour after this picture was posted.
And the the perfect coincidence is that today is a game day for us and we're playing Serenity today! ^_^ Time to go prep my adventure.

GOD I love Firefly. But before I read the description, I actually start matching them up to the Firefly crew because I was like "IDK SHE DREW HER FRIENDS AS THE FIREFLY CAST?"
Top row would be a Jayne, next row from the left would be Wash, Simon, and Mal, and then the bottom row would be Kaylee and Zoe. YEAHHHH.

Well, you're pretty close. Top is pretty much a nicer Jayne, from the left is a Kaylee/Wash hybrid, a Mal (kinda), then a Jayne/Wash combo. Jayne for crude and sex, Wash for pilot. The two women are Zoes with anger issues.

Ahaha, I can see the Kaylee/Washness! The jacket reminds me of Wash, but the mechanic tools are Kayleesque. Though the glasses that the middle guy is wearing is what screamed 'Simon' to me, because they're like the ones he wears in the Serenity pilot, haha.
