Description
This is my Firefly roleplaying character, the intelligent and cold doctor named Samirah. We haven't gotten to actually start the game yet because of timing, so I have yet to actually PLAY Samirah but I can't WAIT! She's going to be so much fun.

She's so pretty, she looks to be either Indian or Native American majorally... maybe South American? I like her expression, so resigned, cool, a little stony.

I can tell you from my experiences that it's a very good game with a very easy system to learn.
Your character looks ace anyway. Will your group be keeping a quote book or some kind of record of your (mis)adventures?

I just got my hands on the discs for Firefly, and I wasn't really into it cause I don't usually like sci-fi shows, but OH MY GOD ITS SO AMAZING I don't even know how to say it.

well depends on the GM (game master) if they incorporate the original characters. If i run a game set in a known show or book universe i try to stay way from incorporating the cannon characters

Ah, great game, I really liked the story point mechanic. We played it for a few good months and even my players who hadn't yet seen the series fell right into the proper firefly mindset ... says something for the material - and I suppose, so not as to sound too humble, the delivery. ::smirks::
(after the first session they were all jazzed to watch the series - which I had ordered on dvd at the same time as the game - and became instant fans)

I built a firefly character that I never got to play. I rebuilt her for several other games that also were never run.
She's a mechanic with a giant chip on her shoulder and a penchant for hitting people with wrenches.
